Imagine you only have one minute to live. Not enough time to do much of anything, but dream. This is a character in your dream. A participant. It feels. It is self aware. It doesn't sleep.
This is the story of you as the hunted, you the seemingly small, you the weak, the failed, the coward, the afraid. This is the villain in the story. Having no suitable song of redemption that is what is being presented.
SAI U DROM is the playful release of hope from an otherwise guilt ridden stranger Live there are between 4 to 9 musicians. Someone once said "It's Like an Irish pirate ship captained by a mad Russian who has a nuclear arsenalt of poetry" A soundman once referred to it as "a little kids nightmare" And Capital Music referred to it as "Eclectic gypsy punk painting fairy tales of love and alienation like an isreali cluster bomb of poetry." Having a strong love for eastern european gypsy music, Irish traditionals, poetry, hip-hop, folk, classical, metal, and punk it was set to fuse whatever came to be into the other.
The musicians of SAI U DROM come from a variety of backrounds and music styles. Members also play or have played in such bands like Apocalypse Theatre, Skeletons in the Piano, The Mckrells, Sugar Eater, Lore, Parasite, Mercykill, and Cathexis. Not to mention many street performance bands. All of the songs were recorded, mixed, and produced by SAI U DROM.
